Pastor Keith L. Green serves as Senior Pastor of Word of God Church and Ministries Baltimore, a church that is more than a ministry...it's a movement! He leads the Word of God Baltimore family with the vision of advancing God’s kingdom through sharing God’s Word.

Pastor Green is well known for his effective teaching, preaching and sharing his love of Christ through the ministry of worship. He is a self-taught pianist/organist, and an anointed vocalist and songwriter.

2014 marks Pastor Green’s 15th year of his preaching ministry. It began in 1999 when he accepted the call to preach while serving as minister of music at his home church, Progressive First Baptist Church. In 2003, upon death of his grandfather and church founder, Rev. Dr. B.A. Dawkins, he was called to pastor the ministry.

Under Pastor Green’s leadership, Progressive experienced tremendous growth in numbers as well as spiritual growth. He chartered and trained several new ministries such as community outreach and evangelism, senior’s ministry, children and teen ministries, and discipleship ministry. However, through Progressive’s growth, there arose greater call on the church - to deliver and win souls for Jesus Christ worldwide and to empower communities through the Word physically, educationally, and economically.

In December 2012, Pastor Green and Progressive partnered with Pastor Eric Davis and Word of God Church & Ministries of South Carolina. To expand the worldwide movement to Baltimore, Maryland, Word of God Church & Ministries Baltimore was established on September 15, 2013. Through the new direction, a greater anointing has been released. New ministries are being birthed and God’s people are growing to be more like Christ.

Pastor Green is married to Lady Cinnamon and they have been blessed with three beautiful and gifted daughters, Epiphany Kayci (pianist-dancer), Jordan ElleMarie (gymnast-singer) and Shiloh Keitlyn (dancer-comedian)
